I Heart: Macadamia Deep Repair Maque

So two months ago a friend of mine who is a hair stylist told me about this amazing deep repair hair masque called Macadamia that helps rejuvenate hair and bring back shine. My hair has been quite dry for a while so I thought why not try a few samples to see if I could notice an actual difference to my hair before I purchase a whole jar. I told myself that unless I am hundred percent satisfied with the product I would not invest approximately 20 pounds on a hair masque.
Two months later, I can now say that I’m a proud owner of a full jar of 'Macademia - Natural Oil -Deep Repair Hair Masque. I would defiantly recommend this product!!

I Heart: The Expat Life

When I moved away from Norway like a decade ago, I discovered a whole new world which eventually helped me realize that I am fortunate and blessed to be able to seek knowledge, and to become a global citizen rather than just a representative of my country. I honestly believe that living in another country for a little while, whether it’s a few months or a few years; is something everyone with the means to do so should consider. There’s no better way, after all, to examine and understand your own culture than to live outside of it.

I've actually lost track of the number of times where people have expressed to me their desire to live and work in foreign countries like I have done. I agree that much of the time being an expat is great fun, as you get to experience different cultures, meet different types of people, take pretty pictures, learn new languages and taste exotic foods. The downside of course is that you’ll miss your family but thanks to expat salaries and the concessions that come with them - you will likely have the means to visit those who are close and dear to you.

I Heart: Tangle Teezer

Tangle Teezer: ASOS

I am absolutely amazed by this Tangle Teezer! It’s a brush which quickly detangles my hair without breaking or pulling on it. I have long hair so it really amazes me how it glides so effortlessly though my hair and I love how little effort I now have to put into detangling my hair every morning.
I no longer have to be super super careful when I brush my hair (especially when its wet) which is a huge time-saver. And I’m also glad I no longer have to use an excess amount of conditioner just to brush my hair. I seriously cannot recommend this brush enough! Its perfect for grooming hair that suffers from breakage. I will even go as far as too say that I feel like my hair is healthier now that I’m not pulling on it as much as I used to with regular brushes.  I LOVE IT!

I Heart: Chunky Chain Necklaces

Last year I loved long necklaces but I don’t find them nearly as classy as these chunky sweethearts. Hope you like them as much I do.

Chain with Black and White Diamonds: Republic

This necklace I got from Republic. I didn't order it online, I actually physically walked into the store and it caught my eye immediately. It is beautifully covered in black and white diamonds (not real ones obviously) and it has a chain base which is currently a major trend. I like it a lot because its chunky yet too big so I can wear it without looking like i'm trying too hard.

Martini Facet Collar necklace: Topshop

I recently invested in this gorgeous Martini Facet Collar necklace from Topshop. This necklace is currently my favorite one. It has five different colored chains that are stuck together. Each chain has an earthy color so it goes well with the darker winter colors that are currently in fashion. I usually like to wear jewelry that I can wear all year round and I can easily see myself wearing this with a white blazer next summer.

Square and 2 Triangle Necklace & Bracelet : Dorothy Perkins

walked by Dorothy Perkins yesterday and I saw this gold necklace on one of the window manikins. Needless to say i rushed inn and bought it. I usually prefer wearing gold in summer rather than winter but i think this necklace will look good on a closed neck dress which you can pretty much find in any store these days. definitely think that if you have a chunky necklace it can quickly turn a plain black outfit into a stylish one.

I Heart: YSL inspired Rings

Rings: ASOS marketplace

So while I was in Melbourne last year I got to know this gorgeous girl from Dubai who wore absolutely fabulous jewelry. She always looked well put together with her hair and nails done just right. She would always wear these beautiful Yves Saint Laurent Rings that I absolutely adore. I loved those rings so much that I wanted to purchase a few for myself. That was of course... until I realized that those rings cost a couple of hundred dollars.
I’m not the biggest fan of rings in general because I simply forget to wear them or I get easily bored of them. So there was no way that I was going to spend hundreds of dollars on rings. (Unless there are diamonds involved.) So I decided to purchase some arty oval rings that look almost the same as the YSL rings at a quarter or less of the price. That way I get the cool rings and I have loads of money left over to spend on Christmas gifts and a couple of cute outfits.

I heart: Fall Jacket + Collar

Collar: ASOS Jacket: NewLook Jeans: Boohoo Boots: Forever 21

I have been taking advantage of all the discounts available now that we are getting closer to the holiday season. I have been ordering personalized Christmas gifts and outdoor clothing. I have been shopping a lot online instead of actually making an effort to physically go to the stores. I have to admit that i like the excitement of receiving packages in the mail which is a process that usually only takes a couple of days. I am completely in love with ASOS and I love that they offer a wide range of products and brands. They also update their collections every day so there is always something new to check out.
Recently I ordered a faux fur collar which i think has a really soft feel and I think it really spices up any plain coat or leather jacket. I am also very pleased with my new wedged boots which has a warm brown leather color that I can match with pretty much anything. The best part is the fact that they are wide legged and easy to walk in which is huge pluses in my opinion.

I heart: Winter Parka

Jacket/Parka: Topshop   Hat: Newlook  JeansBoohoo

I love my new Luxe Nylon Parka from Topshop. It has a beautiful gray faux fur lining with a large hoddie to keep me warm this winter. The Parka has really wide pockets which I find really useful because I don’t like carrying around huge bags when all I really need is my wallet, keys, makeup and mobile… and maybe even a small notebook. It’s not a cheap jacket but I think it’s important to invest in clothing that will keep you as warm as possible this winter as cold waves are likely to emerge at some point. There is also a green military version of the jacket which I have seen a lot of girls wear but I prefer the blue version because I don’t necessarily like to wear the same color as everyone else.
